Cloud audio is processed and stored in the region you choose (United States, European Union, Singapore, or Japan). On-device mode keeps audio on your machine. We never use your audio or transcripts to train models.
Desktop Local and Pro plans can transcribe and diarize entirely on your computer. Audio never leaves the device — including air-gapped environments.
When you use cloud mode, transcription and diarization run in the region selected at sign-in. Temporary processing storage stays in that region and is deleted after the job. Durable files stay in that region too.
